Rather than continuing on with a longer list of hot mashups, today I’ll begin a series highlighting the best damn music videos.

While I typically present direct links for you to download mashups, today I thought I’d explore some pretty awesome music mashup videos on YouTube.

Combining two solid songs can sometimes mean disaster, but this one definitely works. Dr. Dre has never sounded better, thanks to a little Prodigy.

What do you get when you mix Kevin Rudolph, Evanescence, Limp Bizkit, Jay Z and the Prodigy together? Dirty Rockk features a pretty intriguing video with a well blended mixture.

Originally, this post was going to highlight the overall 15 most popular videos that launched during the year, but all 15 happened to be official music videos.

The numbers aren’t entirely accurate, [...]]]> Now that 2011 is coming to an end, it’s time to share the 10 most popular posts of the year. Thanks to Google Panda, I experienced a major decrease in traffic since last year. This year the site had just 360K visits from 324K unique visitors with 844K page views.

The numbers aren’t entirely accurate, since the site made a temporary move to Squarespace and failed to re-install the Google Analytics tracking code for about a good month (oops). Regardless, traffic took a big hit. Last year the numbers were 1M visits from 926K unique visitors with 3.8M page views.

To break down the top 10 a little further, here’s a look at the top 10 broken down by the primary subject of the posts. While iPad and iPhone app-related posts faired well in the listing, 77% of page views from the top 10 went to the Android posts.

I’ve finished [...]]]> While popular YouTube shows like Fred and The Annoying Orange aren’t my cup of tea, I can’t get enough of Kevin from Machinima.com’s How To Annoy People series. The concept is simple as Kevin plays Call of Duty and Modern Warfare 2 online while doing his best to annoy all the other unsuspecting players.

The listing is dominated by official music videos, with artists Justin Bieber and Rihanna garnering the most interest among viewers.

Justin Bieber is again dominating the competition with four music videos in the top 20, three of which are in the top ten. Rihanna owns three videos on the list, while Eminem weighs in with two from his collection. In all, 18 of the 20 videos are music videos.

Back then, if you weren’t home you weren’t expected to answer the phone. If you weren’t home, you were free to call friends and family back at your convenience.
