Today, I wanted to bring attention to a brand new iPhone Magazine app, TapTilt, now available at the iTunes App Store. TapTilt is your on phone iPhone Magazine App, that highlights the very best iPhone apps. TapTilt explores various categories of iPhone apps, while providing tips, in-depth reviews and just plain fun and useful stuff you’ll love.
While the iTunes Application Store has an app for just about anything, if you want to get screencaps of your device, no app is necessary. It’s simple to do, but surprisingly few know about this built in functionality.
The iPhone has revolutionized the way we talk, listen to music, watch movies and tv shows and even take pictures. With the iPhone and iPod Touch, we’re always connected. Thanks to the iTunes App Store, we can transform our iPhones into just about anything we want. Though the App Store is extensive, you can be overwhelmed with the number of Apps to choose from. The available iPhone Music Apps are solid, but which are the best? It’s all subjective, but I wanted to share 5 of my favorite iPhone Music Apps. You can use these Apps to get streaming radio, identify a song, create a personalized radio station and even transform your iPhone into a flute. Enjoy!
If you visit the iPhone App Store, you’ll notice there are countless iPhone Apps and iPod Touch Apps. It’s nice that they have the App store completely loaded with Apps for anything and everything, but the problem is that there are far too many Applications. I wanted to use this posting to sort through the SuperWalmart of Apps and toss the crap and pull out the very best of the Free Twitter Applications. In no particular order, here’s my top 10.
If you’ve been following the site, you may notice that I’ve posted about iPhone Apps on several occasions. I’ve been asked “how can you post about iPhone Apps when you don’t have an iPhone?” I believe I have the best of both worlds with a Blackberry Storm and an iPod Touch, which is my favorite toy. With the Storm, I get the reliable Verizon service and the great 3G network. The iPod Touch utilizes Wifi, but serves as my living room internet connection and mp3/movie player on the go. I also have quite a bit of fun with the Apps.
With the recent addition of Amazon Kindle 2 ($359) and the Kindle DX ($489), I felt it was necessary to seek some cheaper alternatives for readers on the go. The Kindles are sexy and ideal for many reasons, such as the 3G network, ability to increase the font size, the storage capacity, etc. However, few can afford the Kindle 2 or the Kindle DX. This post will explore some of the best iPhone and iPod Touch Apps , including the free Kindle App, to provide a cheaper alternative to the Kindle. The Apps below will help you transform your iPhone into an eBook and Document Reader.
Today, I wanted to take a few moments to share one of my new favorite entertainment sites, FMyLife. If you’re easily offended, FMyLife probably isn’t for you. You can literally spend hours reading through user submitted horror stories. The format consists of individual journal-type entries that are followed by “FML.” You can either submit a new entry or participate by voting “I agree your life is fxxxed” or “You deserved that one.” The site provides functionality to search by Top FML, Flop FML, etc.
In perusing my tweets of Twitter Users I’m following, I found another great tweet that compliments the previous iPhone App posts quite well. Brainz provides a listing of 20 excellent 3rd party iPhone photo and video apps that enable you to edit/share your photos and capture video. I have only seen a few of the Apps from the list and am excited to see that Animoto now has an App.
Since Eazy Cheezy was launched last September, there’s been quite a few changes and enhancements in both the design and platform. I’ve taken quite a few chances and the end result has been quite rewarding. The site was started using a Blogger Platform, transitioned to it’s own Domain, then migrated to a WordPress Platform. As I look to further expand the site and take a few more chances, my most recent curiosity is in developing an App for Eazy Cheezy. I’ve been researching this process and have found countless resources that I wanted to share.
The iTunes App Store has an amazing and deep catalog of Movie related Application. Below, you’ll find a list of 20+ of the best Apps I’ve found by browsing through countless Apps that are currently available.
I’ve been a XM Radio subscriber for the past 5 years, but am seriously contemplating cutting the expense. As of right now, the only thing I listed to on my Satellite Radio is Opie & Anthony. In today’s post, I wanted to explore options I’ve been looking into to give me the flexibility to throw my Satellite Radio bill out the window.
