This week has been very exciting! Three outstanding authors from diverse backgrounds were guest bloggers this week! Another big thank you to Kat from Tender Graces and Marcy from The Cooking Rut. I wanted to squeeze in this week’s 10 Favorite Bookmarks posting. This is a weekly series that I use as a platform to share my favorite bookmarks I’ve recently discovered. The list below is in no particular order. Enjoy!
1. Blogger SEO (Techknowl.com) – Some excellent tips on how to integrate Search Engine Optimization (SEO) into your Blogger blog.
2. A Journey Through Yahoo Answer’s Finest (yepyep.gibbs12.com) – Some hilarious questions and answers published on Yahoo Answers. You won’t believe some of them. This is an older entry, but it’s the first I saw it and wanted to share.
3. 45 Blog Post Ideas That Always Generate Buzz (thefuturebuzz.com) – Tips to attract more readers to your content.
4. The Missing Google Analytics Manual (grokdotcom.com) – I’ve already learned quite a bit from this in depth and must have resource. I highly recommend reading this if you use Google Analytics to track your visitors and traffic.
5. 25 Sites to Find Good Free Vector Files (freelancefolder.com) – I’m always looking for vector files to help spice up my blog posts. This is a solid list of places to find vectors.
6. Scary-Ass Job-Loss Chart Comparing Previous & Current Recession (boingboing.com) – This is scary. Take a look how jobless rates compare to previous recessions.
7. Tech Tools for Teachers (superteachertools.com) – Some very good tools to help you in any teaching environment. I like Classroom Jeopardy.
8. Test Your Blog (seobythesea) – 15 excellent tools to test your blog in so many different ways. I love this list!
9. Artists, Bands & Musicians on Twitter (spreadsheets.google.com) – If you use Twitter and are a fan of music, this is an extensive listing of all the musician’s profiles on Twitter.
10. Quantcast - You probably have heard of Google Page Rank and Alexa Rankings, but did you know about Quantcast? Quantcast ranks you, gives you in-depth traffic information and some informative projections.
