Provides an alternative to locking your BlackBerry Storm. Create your pattern, then to unlock just repeat that pattern by tracing it with your finger. Any incorrect pattern will not unlock your device. The app also has an added feature of call screen lock, which helps to avoid accidental screen clicks during a call. You can also setup a lock out, that blocks any input for a period of time if the wrong pattern is entered a maximum number of times.

SwipeLock for BlackBerry Storm ($2.99) – 149KB

SwipeLock is very similar to TalkLock, in that it prevents you from accidentally pressing buttons with your face while talking. You can lock the device or unlock the device using a unique swipe pattern or unlock it using the slider. The puzzle protect mode can give you an alternative method to security than that of a alphanumeric password.

Lock your phone or applications you specify, such as Messages, Pictures, Contacts, Video, etc. You can configure the app to automatically lock your phone at specified times, such as when it’s powered on, when the SIM changes, when someone tries to access the applications you protected, etc. You can also specify your level of security, secret or sensitive.
