Welcome to another weekly edition of the Top 10 Free BlackBerry Apps, calculated by total number of downloads from BlackBerry App World.  The story last week was the exciting (#2) BuzzMe version upgrade and the addition of (#3) Snaptu’s, a Twitter and Facebook integrated App, to the list. The (#1) BlackBerry App World Upgrade launched it to the top of the list.

This week’s top 10 is a bit like last week, as version upgrades boost download numbers for existing Apps. New to the list is (#6) Pocket Express North America and (#2) BlackBerry Messenger, thanks to a very popular version upgrade.  Let’s take a look at this week’s  Top 10 Free BlackBerry Apps as of October 10, 2009. Pandora makes its’ way into the top 5 once again, as it’s without a doubt my favorite music App. I’m not personally into instant messaging, but the BlackBerry Messenger update is a hit. BlackBerry App World also gets another version upgrade, which fixes the currency problem in the previous update. With its recent version upgrade, I think we’ll be seeing BuzzMe in the top 10 for some time. Do you have any favorites that you feel should be included in the top 1o?
