Just a few days ago, I became a Beta user of the brand new social networking site called Likaholix, from ProBlogger. Likaholix was developed by two former Google Engineers, who were key people behind GMail, AdSense, Google Docs, etc.
The purpose of Likaholix is to share stuff you like, discuss your interests and further network with those who share common likes. To get a better understanding, take a look at the Likaholix Tour.
In one day, I added 50 likes and had countless recommendations based on my likes. I have to admit that it’s pretty addicting and an excellent way to find great bookmarks and those with common interests. Likaholix is currently holding a Kindle Contest for private beta users. They plan to give away 5 Amazon Kindles. You’ll have to be quite active on the site if you want to be chosen.
As you can see above, when submitting a new entry, you have the option of adding it by URL or searching the net. You can then add a title, description and media to enrich your entry. As previously mentioned, the site is currently in Private Beta, but I do have 10 Invites to give out. If you would like an invite, drop a comment below letting me know you want one. First 10 gets the invites.
