m. I personally get tired of hearing the same songs on the radio . Plus the majority of newer music always sounds the same to me. So, why not download some free mashups? I love the creative genius behind both the mashups and the cover art. It’s amazing to me how 2 or more completely different type songs can be combined and still work.
The image to the right is from Gnarls Biggie, which was a mashup album that combined Gnarls Barkley and the Notorious BIG. I loved the album, but can no longer find it anywhere and the site’s no longer active. Minus Gnarls Biggie, below is a listing of the best and most unique mashup albums I could find!
1. Best of Bootie 2008 -Collection of the best mashups in 2008. 20 tracks, like Paper Rump (Wreckx-N-Effect vs. M.I.A) and 13 bonus songs. Right click & download away.
2. Best of Bootie 2007 – Collection of the best mashups in 2007. 21 tracks, such as More Than On Point (House of Pain vs. Boston) and 10 bonus songs. Just right click each song & save as.
3. Best of Bootie 2006 – The best mashups of 2006. This album includes 21 songs, such as Tricky Sandman (Run DMC vs. Metallica) and 10 bonus songs.
4. Best of Bootie 2005 – The best mashups in 2005. This album includes 20 tracks. Check out a few of my favorites, Black Beatles (Beatles vs. Black Eyed Peas vs. Ludacris vs. Kelis) and It Takes Two to Kiss (Rob Bass vs. Prince).
5. Jaydiohead – Have you ever wondered what Jay-Z mixed with Radiohead sounds like? Jaydiohead features 10 unique and well done tracks. You have multiple options to download the album; Torrent, Mediafire, Badongo, ZShare or MegaUpload.
6. Grey Album – DJ Danger Mouse of Gnarls Barkley created this album in 2004, which combines Jay-Z’s Black Album with the Beatles White Album. Though it’s not as easy to get as the others, it’s definitely worth the trouble. You can download the torrent, by clicking here. If you’ve never downloaded Torrents before, you’ll first need to get a client. I recommend uTorrent, which is easily the best. Here’s part 1 on Youtube.
7. Jay-Zeezer – 17 Tracks of Jay-Z’s Black Album mixed with Weezer’s Blue Album. Check out Undone – The Treater Song. Just right click each track and download.
7. Mashups Of The Year 2008 – WHA!? gives us 19 tracks that they considered to be the best in 2008. Right click and download or use their torrent link.
8. Double Black Album – Jay-Z meets Metallica for 12 songs. You can download the album via Megaupload or Rapidshare.
9. Q-Unit’s Greatest Hits - Queen meets 50 Cent in this mix of 11 of the best Queen and 50 Cent Tracks. Right click on the individual tracks and save as to download.
9. Da-Tah Scissor Sisters Mashup Album – WHA!? provides this album of 20 tracks that you can simply get by clicking on the album art and saving or via torrent.
10. Bootleg is Resistance by ToToM – This is a III part album series, that features 48 total tracks. Just right click each track and save.
11. Mash-up Your Bootz Vol 1 – This is a mix of 19 Tracks. Click “Music” on the left sidebar then choose Vol 1. You can then right click individual tracks and save them to your computer.
12. Mash-up Your Bootz Vol 2 – 16 total Tracks. Click “Music” on the left sidebar then choose Vol 2. You can then right click individual tracks and save them to your computer.
13. Mash-up Your Bootz Vol 3 - Mix of 15 Tracks. Click “Music” on the left sidebar then choose Vol 3. You can then right click individual tracks and save them to your computer.
14. American Edit – Dean Gray completed a mashup of Green Day’s American Idiot. It features 11 tracks and this album had quite the buzz in 2005. Download from here. You can listen or right click and download.
15. Rap vs. Country – DJ Whitebread gives us 11 country and rap mixes in this album. You’ll also find a few other country/rap mixes on the page, such as the very creative Diggin Up Bones (Randy Travis vs. Snoop). Right click and save them to your computer.

Thanks for this post, there's some good stuff here, but also some "ish"… Comes with any mashup album though! So far I particularly like Wrong Prayer by Jaydiohead, but that's one of the only loopy riff that Radiohead has, but it sounds good nonetheless.
oh, PS – checked out the Skratch n Sniff stuff… not as good as most the stuff posted here.
