Google’s Real-Time Election Results Map

On 11/04/2008, in Uncategorized, by Brian

With today being election day, no other topic is more important for American’s than the election. Today is the day to get out and vote. I’ll be visiting the booth at the conclusion of my class today and I encourage all others to do the same to excercise your rights.

The 2008 Election Gallery has a real-time election results map, using Google Maps. You can also embed this map. You can choose a specific state or leave the default USA to see the entire picture. You can also customize the border color. I really like how you can scroll over each state to see the % of votes for each candidate and the % of precincts. These live results will be available later today.
