I recently found a very valuable resource, which is a Map of Social Networks Popularity Around the World Timeline. It’s a map of the world, along with 25 different social network sites. Each social network site has it’s own color and the dominant social networking site’s color is displayed in each country. Another feature it offers is changes from month to month. i.e. September, Facebook took over the Bahamas from Hi5.
Very interesting results and information to have available, especially if you are looking for your site to appeal to others globally. For example, my visitors here at Eazy Cheezy have visited from 150 different countries and only 67% of my visits have come from the U.S., even though this is a U.S. based site.
This map will be very valuable to me since I can use this information to also cover social networking sites that are popular outside the U.S.

Very interesting. I started blogging with MySpace in 2006, but moved to Blogger after a few months since it was much more geared to actual blogging.
That’s interesting. I have myspace account, but haven’t every really done much with it. I also like Blogger much better.
